Day 4 (school) and 5 (Oxford)
Today, on a saturday, Tijmen had to go to school. Not his regular school, but to Dutch school. He goes there every saturday and it is in Oxford, to maintain his Dutch (roots). Because it was in Oxford, Marleen and I saw the opportunity to go through the lovely city, while Tijmen was at school, with a buggy full of lovely children. We had quite a long, but very nice, walk and ended up in covered market, where we ate something. We orientated on what we could do friday, because then, we'll be going back, but then without any children :).
We picked up Tijmen and went home. The weather was very good, so we went almost straight away to the field, with an amazing view. We took pictures there and, after watching the soccer game that was going on, we went home. But first, most importantly, we got an ice-cream! That's when I learned of Tijmen the ice-cream rhyme:
We all scream,
Very funny! Anyway, back home, we played outside for a while and had some more tea. The minnies (Mathilde and Casper) had very, very little sleep and bumped into everything on their way, so not very surprising, they fell asleep very soon after dinner.
That was Saturday up and until now. Tonight is babysitting-time at James' place.
Lots and lots of kisses from me!

He Lina, good to 'read' from you again!
But can imagine that sometimes you also can get a little bit tired of all your adventures...
I think that you are very lucky to be part of all these things going on in English family-live.
Makes me want to meet this family, and see the Brill-village, too:)
Lots of love and kisses to you!

Hoi Lina, ik lees met heel veel plezier jou blog. Jij maakt weer hele andere dingen mee dan Linde, maar zeker ook erg interessant. Geniet nog van de dagen die komen gaan en tot gauw.
Groetjes van de familie Respen.

Oxford is such a beautiful town! Enjoy your day there without the kids!
