Day 3

Day 3 already! Again a busy, busy day at school. Normal things, such as hockey and games were on the program, but it was also science day! Year 5 built up stands with different experiments. The kids could go in pairs and try them out. It was fun, colourful and full of explosions... (Nothing to worry about though :) ). This experimenting took about half an hour and afterwards we went back to class. Back there, the pupils got French. After break-time and some more playing, Izzy's mom walked in (Izzy is one of the children). She brought along caterpillars. We gathered around in a circle and me and Scarlet (another helper) helped a group of children to create a small habitat for their own caterpillar. They were all very excited.

When school was over, it was pouring rain... I brought Tijmen to one of his friends, Sam, who has chicken pocks and is therefore not at school and missed his friends, and went back home soaked. I played with Mathilde and Casper until dinner: vegetables, potatoes and salmon, tasty, tasty!

Now typing this, I feel like I've left out a lot of today, but it is all so much that it is hard to remember everything.

Ps. I got a beautiful drawing from Dita, one of the girls. She also asked me yesterday if I were Tijmen's girlfriend, hihi, so funny and cute!
