Brill is a very unknown place, but secretly known! Now, you must be thinking: what?! Well, here's the explanation:
- J.R.R. Tolkien has named the hobbit town after Brill.
- Roald Dahl has been in the café on the edge of Brill and has been inspired by the lovely town for his book, Mathilda.
So, you see, known and unknown at the same time..
This is maybe a bit of a weird travel report, but I just felt like sharing this bit of information ;)
