I've had a very busy day today, because I went to the primary school for the first time to help out. It is on a very beautiful location, with an amazing view. I got to be with Tijmen's class, he is in year R, the year with the 4/5-year olds.

The class consists of 1 (main) teacher, 2 helper teachers, 1 mommy or daddy, switching from time to time and 25 little monkeys. Though, the sweetest monkeys ever!

When we arrived, all children were running around and playing, but not for long. When the whistle was heard, all went to stand in a row on the playground, together with their classmates, waiting for the teacher to come and get them. We followed and I was being introduced to the children. I won't talk about every small detail of the day at school, because there was just too much going on. I've played outside, I've painted, I've tidied, I've listened and chatted with all children and I helped the teachers. There are some highlights of the day though:
- The prayer time; this was just being introduced today for the first time. There was a room separated in different parts: the play doh part, the picture part, the bubbles part and the water part. All were ment for thinking. In the play doh part, the children could make out of the clay anything they loved and couldn't live without (I was helping there). The picture part was for showing pictures of the soldiers and war, to make the children think. In the bubble part, the children could make a note and put it on the tube in which bubbles floated to the surface, as a message to God. Finally, in the water part, they could say sorry for all the naughty things they'd done and get forgiveness.
- The topic of the week is vegetables, so they're were colouring, painting and even working with vegetables.
- It's a very clever class and they are all so polite and sweet.

After school we walked home, had a drink and the whole family went to walk a small round towards the tire-swing. Beautiful landscape, very hill-like. Coming back from the walk, nothing special happened; we ate, Nick went off to London for a night, we watched some tv and it was already time for the little ones for bed.

I'm too tired to think of anything else to write, so it could be i forgot something, but oh well. Bye!
